1、 Overview
The export of the SDA3 type AC-propelled diesel locomotive in Thailand was developed based on the international bidding project for 20 diesel locomotives of the National Railway Administration of Thailand. This locomotive is a new meter-rail locomotive diesel locomotive that is satisfied with the use of Thailand. The locomotive has large wheel traction and excellent resistance braking function, low emission and noise, and excellent ride comfort. The locomotive accepts the three-axle radial bogie, which advances the locomotive curve and optimizes the locomotive dynamics. The diesel locomotive has advanced skills, compact structure and fairness, convenient and quick disassembly, and reliable connection. It can conform to all kinds of bad weather conditions, and the maintenance is relatively small and easy to implement.
2、Introduction to locomotive
2.1 Overall deployment of the locomotive
The locomotive is divided into upper and lower parts. The upper part is the car body and the equipment installed on the car body. The lower part is the bogie and the detachable fuel tank and the total air cylinder in the middle.
The locomotive receives the double cab structure of the inner corridor and the side wall carries the body. The upper part of the locomotive is divided into seven compartments by six partitions: driver's cab I, electric room, motor room, power room, cooling room, auxiliary room and driver's cab II. The overall deployment diagram of the locomotive is shown in Figure 1:

2.2 Main system of locomotive
2.2.1 Diesel engine
The diesel engine accepts the CAT C175 diesel engine with an additional speed of 1800r/min. It has the advantages of simple structure and light weight, and the emission is satisfactory for EU IIIA emission grade requirements.
2.2.2 Auxiliary system
The auxiliary system mainly includes the fuel system, the oil system, the ventilation system, the diesel engine intake system, and the cooling water system. The cooling device is the central component in the cooling water system, which is mainly composed of a radiator, a cooling fan motor unit, and a cooling device steel knot negotiation top. The blinds are composed. The radiator receives the large plate radiator and is laid flat; the cooling fan receives the combined fan.
2.2.3 bogie
The bogie is mainly composed of a frame, an axle box assembly, a wheel pair, a side bearing, a traction device, a motor suspension device, a base braking device, a radial mechanism and an accessory.
2.2.4 Car body
The vehicle body receives the truss structure on the side wall of the inner corridor. There are traction rod seats at the front and rear side beams of the frame for connecting with the bogie towbars to reach the traction and braking force. The traction rod seat is provided with a crane cylinder and a carriage seat for lifting locomotives and carriages. . There are relief crane tubes on both sides of the end of the frame for emergency relief. Installed 102 E/F type coupler and MT-2 type high function buffer.
